From 2021, the selective high school placement test transitions to a new testing framework provided by Cambridge Assessment. The new testing style places greater emphasis on thinking skills, mathematical reasoning and problem solving.
Students will have to transition from the original GA test style to the new Cambridge style when preparing for the exam. CTedu helps students acquire the necessary knowledge and improve their test taking skills through a series of trial tests designed specifically for the new style.
For Year 4 students, the new Cambridge style tests mean more difficulties because their comprehension and thinking skills are not as good as Year 6 students. Most of them are nervous when faced with the first major test of their lives.
The online trial tests offered by CTedu are designed to be similar in style to the official tests and will help students become familiar with them. Students will find a pace that suits themselves so that when they take the official test, there are no disasters such as being unable to complete several questions or having a blank mind.
